The present invention is related to a light transmission type powder and granular measuring apparatus. The apparatus is comprised of two pieces of piping connected in such a manner to so as to branch the powder and granular material flowing line into two directions at a divergence point and to join again at a confluence point. A valve is installed at the divergence point. The valve is adapted to be switched to allow the powder and granular material to selectively flow in either one of the two pieces of piping. A light transmission type cell is mounted in at least either one of said two pieces of piping, wherein both the condition in which the powder and granular material is allowed to flow in the cell and the condition in which the powder and granular material is not allowed to flow in the cell can be accomplished by switching the valve without stopping the flow of the powder and granular material.
La présente invention a trait à un appareil servant à mesurer une poudre et une substance granulaire capables de transmettre la lumière. L'appareil comprend deux tuyaux reliés de manière à diviser, à un point de divergence, la ligne d'écoulement de la poudre et de la substance granulaire de manière à ce que ces dernières s'écoulent dans deux directions, et à les réunir de nouveau à un point de confluence. Une vanne est installée au point de divergence. Elle est conçue pour permettre à la poudre et à la substance granulaire de s'écouler par l'un ou l'autre des deux tuyaux. Une cellule transmettant la lumière est fixée dans au moins un des tuyaux et une vanne de régulation laisse passer ou non la poudre et la substance granulaire dans la cellule. L'écoulement de la poudre et de la substance granulaire peut être régulé par la vanne sans être interrompu.
