A lighting system and components are described for a lighting assembly, including a socket (44, 46) having a socket body and an electrical connector (50) with a seal (60) in the socket to seal around a light source (42). The socket (44) is preferably configured to be independent of the mounting arrangement (40) for the lifting assembly. An insulator (94) is also disclosed for a lamp such as a fluorescent lamp having a body which protects the contact on the lamp so as to form a recessed lamp conductor. The combination of a socket and lamp insulator is also disclosed. Additionally, a lighting assembly (36) is disclosed incorporating the insulator, socket and mounting arrangements.
La présente invention concerne un système d'éclairage et des composants pour ensemble d'éclairage, en l'occurrence une douille (44, 46) faite d'un corps et d'un connecteur (50) avec un joint (60) dans la douille pour assurer l'étanchéité autour de la source de lumière (42). Cette douille (44) est configurée de préférence de façon à être indépendante de la structure de montage (40) de l'ensemble d'éclairage. L'invention concerne également un isolateur (94) de lampe, notamment fluorescente, dont le corps protège le contact de la lampe par encastrement du conducteur de lampe. L'invention concerne aussi un ensemble douille et isolateur de lampe. L'invention concerne enfin un ensemble d'éclairage (36) comprenant l'isolateur, la douille et les structures de montage.
