ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A lighting fixture adapted to be mounted on a ceiling by attachment to an outlet box in the ceiling. The fixture comprises a pan having an up- wardly extending rim and a crossbar attached to the bottom of the outlet box in a position extending horizontally across the bottom of the box. The rim of the pan is adapted to be attached to at least one end of the crossbar for mounting the pan adjacent the ceiling.
