ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The specification describes a lighting fixture which comprises a light source and a reflector system mounted adjacent to the light source having means to cut off projected light above a predetermined cutoff angle from downward vertical and to project light with a maximum intensity in a range near the cutoff angle with the intensity decreasing progressively proceeding from the range toward downward vertical. The fixture further includes a light transmitting enclosure which has a vertically extending wall positioned in the path of the light projected by the source and reflector system. The vertically extending wall has vertically extending ribs comprising means to diffuse the light horizontally but not vertically. -
