his invention relates to a lightning arrestor strip (1) to be used, in particular, to protect aircraft radomes. It comprises one side (2) that is meant to be affixed to the surface to be protected from lightning and one side that is exposed (3); its main feature is its composition, of thermoplastic polymer in which are embedded conducting particles. It has a grounding terminal (4) shaped to receive the head of a screw, which will sandwich the terminal between itself and the substrate. Moreover, the greatest thickness of the strip above the affixed side is greater than that of a layer of water or frost such as may accumulate on the surface to be protected during damp weather, i.e. some 2.5 mm or more.
L' invention concerne une bande parafoudre (1) notamment pour la protection de radômes d'aéronefs. Elle comporte une face (2) destinée à être fixée sur la surface à protéger contre la foudre, et une face exposée (3), elle est caractérisée en ce qu'elle est constituée d'un polymère thermoplastique chargé de particules conductrices. Elle comporte une terminaison (4) destinée à assurer la reprise de masse, conformée à la tête d'une vis destinée à prendre la terminaison en sandwich, et est caractérisée en ce la hauteur la plus grande de la bande au droit de la face fixée est supérieure à une couche d'eau ou de givre susceptible de couvrir la surface à protéger lors de conditions climatiques humides, c'est à dire voisine ou supérieure à 2,5 mm.
