A lightning protection method uses a mixture of active and passive plasmas. When the strength of an electrical field is detected by a lightning warning signal unit to reach an alarm limit, the unit sends a signal to start an active plasma generation unit and an air flow source unit. The air flow source unit feeds air or other suitable gases to the active plasma generation unit and via a plasma piping in each lightning rod blows out the high-density plasma generated by the active plasma generation unit at the tip(s) of lightning rod unit. Under the action of the electric field of the lightning cloud, the single or multi-tip lightning rod unit passively forms a corona discharge and produces a plasma. The plasma dissipates the electric charges on the tip(s) of the rod(s) induced by the lightning cloud electrical field, and neutralises the electric charges of lightning cloud.
L'invention concerne un procédé de protection contre la foudre à plasma actif et passif intégrés et le dispositif associé. Une tige pourvue d'un orifice de sortie de gaz est formée par des parafoudres existants à broches multiples ou à broche unique. Un plasma à forte concentration, produit par un générateur de plasma actif et soufflé par la pointe de la tige parafoudre, par l'intermédiaire de l'orifice de sortie de gaz, est combiné au plasma produit par la décharge luminescente à la pointe de cette tige foudroyée, afin de dissiper la charge induite par la foudre sur ladite pointe, de neutraliser la charge induite par la foudre et de réduire l'intensité de champ spatial ; ce système assure un blindage contre la décharge de tension de claquage de la foudre exercée sur la tige parafoudre et d'éliminer cette décharge, et permet de protéger l'objet se situant dans la région de la tige parafoudre. Selon le procédé, la mise en oeuvre du dispositif parafoudre ne nécessite aucune mise à la terre, mais il est possible de relier la tige parafoudre à la terre par l'intermédiaire d'un espace. Ce dispositif est pratique, économique et fiable.
