ABSTRACT The trowelability of lightweight aggregate-containing, low density cement compositions (e.g. Portland cement-expanded vermiculite composition(s) is enhanced by the incorporation therein of a polymer of ethylene oxide. The composition has particular utility in the lining of in-ground swimming pools where the composition is to be applied by trowel to other than horizontal surfaces.
