ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An organic anti-corrosive pigment is prepared by mixing a lignin type compound with a nitrogen compound such as urea, a urea derivative, melamine, melamine derivative, ammonia or an ammonium salt, condensing them by heating the mixture in a molten form, and pulverizing or dispersing the reaction mixture to form a pigment.
