A lignocellulosic composite material and a method for preparing the lignocellulosic composite material are disclosed. The composite material is formed from lignocellulosic particles and a binder resin. The binder resin comprises a polyisocyanate, at least one of insecticide and/or at least one of a fungicide that are dispersed throughout the polyisocyanate. The insecticide and/or fungicide is also dispersed throughout the lignocellulosic particles. Since the insecticide and/or fungicide is dispersed throughout the composite material, the composite material is insect and/or fungi resistant and is able to withstand insect attacks and prevent fungus growth and decay.

L'invention concerne un matériau composite lignocellulosique ainsi qu'un procédé de préparation de ce matériau composite lignocellulosique. Le matériau composite est formé de particules lignocellulosiques et d'une résine liante. La résine liante comprend un polyisocyanate, au moins un insecticide et/ou au moins un fongicide dispersés à travers le polyisocyanate. L'insecticide et/ou le fongicide sont également dispersés à travers les particules lignocellulosiques. Etant donné que l'insecticide et/ou le fongicide sont dispersés à travers le matériau composite, ce dernier est résistant aux insectes et/ou aux champignons et est capable de résister à des attaques d'insectes et d'empêcher la croissance et la décomposition de champignons.
