LINE-HANDLING APPARATUS Abstract of the Disclosure Line-handling apparatus which includes an easily removable spool shaft mounted at opposite ends in cradle bearings supported on opposed spaced stanchions. A power- driven shaft and a power-transmission shaft form part of mechanism provided for rotating the spool shaft. Clutch mechanism is actuatable to produce a driving connection between the driven shaft and the power-transmission shaft, or the driven shaft and a straw drum supported on the driven shaft.
