LINEAR LOW DENSITY POLYETHYLENE PROCESS AND PRODUCT ABSTRACT A process for the production of linear low density poly- ethylene (LLDPE) having a density of 0.930 or lower, employ- ing slurry polymerization techniques involving polymerizing ethylene, butene-l and hexene-l in the presence of an inert C4 liquid diluent and using a catalyst system of an organo aluminum compound and a magnesium halide supported titanium halide catalyst component. The polymer product exhibits improved physical properties particularly advantageous in the production of high clarity films.
