Davis ABSTRACT A linear objective adjustment device is provided in a rifle scope for collimation and is particularly adaptable to scopes wherein the objective end is of non- circular configuration. A lens mount containing a lens system is slidable longitudinally within the objective end of the outer housing of the scope to adjust the back focal position of the objective lens system to coincide with the focal point of the remaining lens system and then is locked in adjusted position.
