A sampling circuit is constructed with a p-channel and an n-channel field effect transistor (FET). A source node of the p-channel FET (42) is coupled to a drain node of the n-channel FET (40) and a drain node of the p-channel FET (42) is coupled to a source node of the n-channel FET (40). A sampling clock is coupled to the gate node of each FET. A first side of the linear sampling circuit is connected to an analog or RF signal source and a far side of the linear sampling circuit is connected to a holding capacitor (44). The n- channel FET has an n-channel width. A p-channel FET has a p-channel width. The p-channel width is larger than the n-channel width in order to increase the linearity of the on-resistance of the resulting switch.

L'invention concerne un échantillonneur comprenant un transistor à effet de champ (FET) à canal P et un transistor à effet de champ (FET) à canal N. Un noeud source du FET à canal P (42) est couplé à un noeud de drain du FET à canal N (40) et un noeud de drain du FET à canal P (42) est couplé à un noeud source du FET à canal N (40). Une horloge d'échantillonnage est couplée au noeud de porte de chaque FET. Un premier côté de l'échantillonneur linéaire est relié à une source de signal analogique ou HF tandis qu'un côté éloigné de l'échantillonneur linéaire est relié à un condensateur de maintien (44). Le FET à canal N présente une largeur de canal N. Le FET à canal P présente une largeur de canal P. La largeur de canal P est supérieure à la largeur du canal N afin d'augmenter la linéarité de la résistance à l'état passant de la bascule obtenue.
