A liner for a paint tray or pail composed of a silicon rubber product which is produced by Dow Corning Corporation of Midland, Michigan, U.S.A. and is identified by the brand name SILASTIC LC series 20-2004 and 60-2004. The product is said to contain 1.0 - 5.0 (wt.%) dimethyl siloxane, hydrogen-terminated, 0.5 - 1.5 (wt %) dimethyl, methylhydrogen siloxane with methyl silsesquioxane, 0.1 - 1.0 (wt %) octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane and 0.1 - 1.0 (wt %) low molecular weight siloxanes.
