ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A softsided lingerie bag is provided herein. It includes a backing sheet of flexible fabric material. A double-ply, folded-over pocket sheet which is more than one half the size of the backing sheet, is superposed over a portion of the backing sheet, to provide a pocket. The pocket sheet has its outer perimeter sewn to a portion of the outer perimeter of the backing sheet, but its upper transverse edge provides an opening to the pocket which is atop the backing sheet. The backing sheet is folded over a portion of the pocket sheet. A decorative tie member secures the folded over backing sheet to the pocket sheet to hide the pocket. This provides an aesthetically pleasing lingerie bag.
