Abstract of the Disclosure A linked arm scroll saw is disclosed as having upper and lower scroll saw blade supports which extend above and below a worktable and are pivotally mounted to a scroll saw frame. Each of the upper and lower scroll supports include scroll saw blade engaging and drive connecting portions angularly offset from one another. The upper and lower scroll saw supports are interconnected to one another for joint movement by a prime mover that is located below and positioned in general proximity to the lower scroll saw support. The prime mover imparts force to the lower scroll saw support which, together with the joint drive system, causes the upper and lower scroll supports to be rotated about the pivotal mountings thereof for vertically reciprocating the scroll saw to enable cutting of workpieces supported on the worktable.
