A lip type end face sealing device (6) having excellent sealability against different liquids on both axial sides and excellent durability. A case (61) fitted to the inner peripheral surface (2a) of a housing (2) is formed of case members (611) and (612). A pair of seal lips (62) and (63) opened in a tapered shape which are integrally fitted to the inner peripheral flange parts (611b) and (612b) of the case members and positioned oppositely to each other in the axial direction are brought into slidable contact with the flange parts (64b) and (65b) of slingers (64) and (65) fitted to the outer periphery of a rotating shaft (3). Pressures in seal inner spaces (S2) between both seal lips (62) and (63) and both slingers (64) and (65) are released through a vent hole (22) formed in the inner peripheral surface (2a) of the housing (2), a vent hole (611c) opened in a case (61), and a clearance between the case members (611) and (612) to prevent a negative pressure from occurring in the seal inner spaces (S2) caused by the rotation of the slingers (64) and (65).
Un dispositif de scellement d'extrémité de type lèvre (6) ayant une excellente capacité de scellement par rapport à différents liquides sur les deux côtés axiaux et une excellente durée de vie. Une boîte (61) fixée sur la surface périphérique interne (2a) d'un boîtier (2) est constituée de boîtes (611) et (612). Une paire de lèvres de scellement (62) et (63) ouvertes en forme conique qui sont intégralement fixés sur les brides périphériques internes (611b) et (612b) des boîtes et placées à l'opposé l'une de l'autre dans la direction axiale sont amenées en contact amovible avec les brides (64b) et (65c) des chasse-gouttes (64) et (65) fixés sur la périphérie extérieure d'un arbre rotatif (3). Les pressions dans les espaces internes scellés (S2) entre les deux lèvres de scellement (62) et (63) et les deux chasse-gouttes (64) et (65) sont libérées via un orifice d'aération (22) formé sur la surface périphérique interne (2a) du boîtier (2), un orifice d'aération (611c) est ouvert dans un boîtier (61) et un intervalle entre les boîtiers (611) et (612) pour empêcher qu'une pression négative n'intervienne dans les espaces intérieurs scellés (S2) causés par la rotation des chasse-gouttes (64) et (65).
