ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention provides a liquid applicator comprising: (a) a main body having a neck and a liquid reservoir; (b) a longitudinally extending liquid conduit feeding from said reservoir to a pen core; (c) a mouthpiece threadedly connected to the neck of said main body and having a bore therethrough for mounting a pen core therein with an end projecting therefrom for use; (d) a plurality of first spaced ridges extending longitudinally in the bore of said mouthpiece for significant length and defining an inner diameter slightly smaller than the outside diameter of said pen core to frictionally retain said pen core in said mouthpiece; (e) a plurality of second spaced ridges extending longitudinally in the front end portion of said liquid conduit defining an inner diameter smaller than the inner diameter defined by first ridges, the outer forward ends of said second ridges serving as an abutment support for the end of said pen core; and (f) the circumferential spaces between said first ridges and between said second ridges providing ventilation to the exterior for said reservoir and said liquid conduit.
