ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE As aspirating probe having an inlet which travels from a lower position in which it is immersed in one of a series of liquid receptacles to an upper position whereat it is withdrawn in a next liquid receptacle and prior to immersion in a next liquid receptacle, such probe being in combination with a washing device which flushes the wash solution down the exterior of said probe when in the last-mentioned position, substantially all of such wash solution being drawn off through such inlet.
