An electrolyte membrane is produced from a liquid composition which contains at least one selected from the group consisting of trivalent or tetravalent cerium and divalent or trivalent manganese, and a polymer compound having a cation-exchange group. Preferably, a membrane electrode assembly is produced by using an electrolyte membrane which is formed by casting a liquid composition containing water, a carbonate of cerium or manganese and a polymer compound having a cation-exchange group. Consequently, there can be provided a membrane electrode assembly for solid polymer fuel cells which enables to generate electricity at high energy efficiency and exhibits high power generation performance regardless of the dew point of a supply gas. This membrane electrode assembly for solid polymer fuel cells also enables to stably generate electricity for a long time.
Cette invention concerne une membrane électrolyte produite à partir d'une composition liquide qui contient au minimum un composant sélectionné parmi les groupes comprenant du cérium trivalent ou tétravalent, et du manganèse divalent ou trivalent, et un composé polymérique doté d'un groupe d'échange cationique. De préférence, un assemblage électrodes-membrane est produit à l'aide d'une membrane électrolyte formée par moulage d'une composition liquide contenant de l'eau, un carbonate de cérium ou de manganèse et un composé polymérique doté d'un groupe d'échange cationique. Par conséquent, il est possible de produire un assemblage électrodes-membrane pour piles à combustion à polymère solide, permettant de générer de l'électricité à un haut degré d'efficacité énergétique et de témoigner d'une performance de génération de grande puissance quel que soit le point de rosée du gaz fourni. Cet assemblage électrodes-membrane pour piles à combustion à polymère solide permet également de générer de l'électricité de manière stable sur une longue durée.
