The invention relates to a method for developing a liquid pharmaceutical composition to be applied to the skin as a foam and to a corresponding composition that can be foamed and that has at least one solvent, at least one active pharmaceutical ingredient, and at least one foaming agent. The foam volume and the foam stability are determined according to a standardized SITA measuring method. The foaming agent, the solvent, and the active pharmaceutical ingredient are varied in regard to the chemical type and/or concentration thereof until the foam thus produced by the SITA measuring method has a foam volume of at least 400 ml and such foam stability that after a dwell time of up to ten minutes the foam still has at least 50% of the foam volume that originally existed immediately after the foam was produced.
L'invention concerne un procédé pour mettre au point une composition pharmaceutique liquide à appliquer sous forme de mousse sur la peau ainsi qu'une composition correspondante moussante contenant au moins un solvant, au moins un principe actif pharmaceutique et au moins un agent moussant. Le volume et la stabilité de la mousse sont déterminés selon un procédé de mesure "SITA" normalisé. Selon ce procédé, on fait varier la nature chimique et/ou la concentration de l'agent moussant, du solvant et du principe actif pharmaceutique jusqu'à ce que la mousse produite selon le procédé de mesure "SITA" présente un volume d'au moins 400 ml et une stabilité telle qu'elle possède, après un temps de séjour d'au maximum 10 minutes, au moins encore 50% du volume qu'elle présentait immédiatement après sa production.
