A liquid container, comprising a container body (1) elastically deformed when holdingly pressed by a user and a cap (2) fitted to the mouth part of the container body (1), the cap (2) further comprising a cap body (2a) having an opening (0) leading into the container and a slit valve (2b) disposed in the opening (0) of the cap body (2a) and opening a slit by pressurizing the container body (1) in the tilted state of the container to discharge a proper amount of the liquid contained in the container, the slit of the slit valve (2b) further comprising a first slit (S1) extending in the direction (T) for tilting the container and a second slit (S2) crossing the first slit (S1).
