A device to cool a liquid during the pouring procedure is provided. The device comprises an enclosure having a top portion and a bottom portion. Generally mounted to the bottom portion is a base for mounting the device to the neck of a bottle. Optionally mounted to the top portion is a spout which generally comprises a valve adapted to control the temperature of the poured liquid by controlling the flow thereof. The bottom portion and the top portion respectively comprise a first and a second openings between which extends a preferably metallic coil conduit. Within the enclosure, the conduit is surrounded by a low freezing cooling material. The device further comprises a vent passage extending in the base portion. Upon pouring the liquid from a bottle, the liquid circulates through the conduit which is in close contact with the cold cooling material, effectively cooling the liquid.
L'invention concerne un dispositif de refroidissement d'un liquide pendant que l'on procède au service. Ledit dispositif comporte une enveloppe présentant une partie supérieure et une partie inférieure. Généralement montée sur la partie inférieure se trouve une embase servant au montage du dispositif sur le goulot d'une bouteille. Eventuellement monté sur la partie supérieure se trouve un bec comportant généralement un robinet prévu pour réguler la température du liquide servi en régulant son débit. La partie inférieure et la partie supérieure comportent respectivement une première et une deuxième ouvertures entre lesquelles s'étend un conduit en serpentin de préférence métallique. A l'intérieur de l'enveloppe, le conduit est entouré par un matériau de refroidissement à bas point de congélation. Le dispositif comporte en outre un passage d'évent s'étendant dans la partie d'embase. Lorsque l'on sert le liquide à partir d'une bouteille, le liquide circule à travers le conduit qui se trouve en contact proche avec le matériau froid de refroidissement, ce qui refroidit efficacement le liquide.
