LIQUID DETERGENT COMPOSITIONS HAVING HIGH RESERVE ALKALINITY Abstract of the Disclosure Heavy-duty liquid detergent compositions containing amine oxide or amide surfactant, alcohol polyethoxylate sulfate sur- factant, anionic sulfonate surfactant, water-soluble detergency builder and water, and having a reserve alkalinity of greater than about 2.5, are disclosed. The compositions provide superior cleaning of greasy/oily soils from fabrics at the high reserve alkalinity .
