ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A pump for delivering fuel for motor vehicles incorporating a computer including a processor, a program for controlling the processor and a memory, a device for measuring an amount of fluid dispensed, a device for feeding information to the computer related to an amount of fluid dispensed and measured by the measuring means, the comptuer being arranged to calculate the cost of the measured amount of fluid in accordance with a predetermined unit price, a display device to display visibly the amount of fluid dispensed and the corresponding cost thereof and a checker to check the validity of the said displays.
