An apparatus adapted to disseminate volatile liquid into an atmosphere comprises a reservoir (1) containing volatile liquid and a liquid transfer member (7) that transfers liquid from the reservoir to the atmosphere via an orifice in the reservoir. The reservoir orifice is closed by a puncturable membrane (4), and the transfer member (7) is mounted adjacent to the orifice on the side of the membrane (4) remote from the liquid and adapted such that it can be pushed through the puncturable membrane (4) into, and then held in contact with, the liquid in the reservoir, to permit the flow of the liquid from the reservoir to the atmosphere. The liquid transfer member (7) preferably comprises capillary channels. The apparatus has the advantage of being leakproof in transit.
L'invention concerne un appareil conçu pour disséminer un liquide volatil dans l'atmosphère, qui comprend un réservoir (1) contenant ledit liquide volatil et un élément de transfert (7) de liquide permettant de transférer le liquide du réservoir dans ladite atmosphère par le biais d'un orifice pratiqué dans ledit réservoir. Ledit orifice est fermé par une membrane perforable (4) et l'élément de transfert (7) est monté jouxtant l'orifice sur le côté de ladite membrane (4) à distance du liquide; il est en outre conçu de manière à pouvoir être poussé à travers la membrane perforable (4) dans le liquide du réservoir et maintenu en contact avec ledit liquide, qui peut alors s'écouler du réservoir vers l'atmosphère. L'élément de transfert (7) de liquide comprend, de préférence, des canaux capillaires. L'appareil est intéressant de par son étanchéité lors de son transport.
