A liquid feed bottle for an infant comprises a body (12) made from a container portion (14) bonded to a teat (15) with an orifice. The body (12) holds a liquid feed such as milk. A cap (13) is bonded or sealed to the body and protects the teat. A cap portion (13a) is initially detachable from the body by pulling and removing a tear strip (17), the cap portion (13a) thus released being subsequently securable on the body by a press fit.
