A liquid-filled thermostatic system for controlling heating valves with an actuating device with an overpressure safety device used for set temperature adjustment and acting as a sensor and a working device which can be fitted on the valve housing and acting directly on the heating valve, in which the actuating device is connected to the working device via a capillary tube, in which the actuating device has an adjusting button, a housing consisting of a preferably domed cap and a casing bottom, a corrugated pipe arranged coaxially inside the housing and a preferably circular securing device around the casing to secure said casing to a wall or the like, in which the housing and the corrugated pipe together form a changeable liquid space and in which the corrugated pipe has an axially bottom adjustable via the adjusting button and an adjusting device, is constructed in such a way that the end of the corrugated pipe away from the adjusting button is fixedly arranged in the housing bottom and extends from the housing bottom essentially outside the region inside the housing surrounded by the securing device to the adjusting button.
