LIQUID FILTERING APPARATUS Abstract of the Disclosure Apparatus for extracting used portions of filter media sheets from between vertically stacked and separated plates of a liquid filtering apparatus and for simultaneously advancing fresh portions of the filter media sheets from supply rolls into the space between the vertically separated plates com- prises a plurality of vertically arranged clamps on the downstream side of the filter plates adapted to engage and firmly grip the opposite lateral edge por- tion of the sheets, the clamps being mounted on a carriage which is reciprocated through a linear generally horizontal stroke.
