ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to a liquid washing agent which possesses excellent cleaning and fabric-softening properties. The agent comprises from about 7 to about 40% by weight of at least one member selected from the group consisting of nonionic tensides, from about 3 to about 15% by weight of a C8-C20- fatty acid polyglycol diester and from about 1 to about 7.5% by weight of a quaternary ammonium compound having textile-softening properties. The agent may also contain well-known ingredients of washing compositions such as dyestuffs, preservatives, opacifiers, performs etc. These agents of the present invention possess excellent cleaning and softening properties which hithertobefore have not been combined effectively in a single product.
