A system and process for producing a fluorinated organic compound, said process comprising (a) reacting an organic compound with a fluorination agent in the presence of a liquid-phase fluorination catalyst to produce a product stream; (b) scrubbing said product stream to remove a substantial portion of said catalyst to form a low-catalyst content product stream; and (c) recovering said fluorinated organic compound from said low-catalyst content stream.

L'invention concerne un système et un procédé permettant de produire un composé organique fluoré. Le procédé comprend les étapes suivantes: a) on fait réagir un composé organique avec un agent de fluoration en présence d'un catalyseur de fluoration en phase liquide, de façon à produire un flux de produit; b) on lave ledit flux de produit de façon à éliminer une partie importante dudit catalyseur et à former un flux de produit à faible teneur en catalyseur; et c) on récupère ledit composé organique fluoré à partir dudit flux à faible teneur en catalyseur.
