The present invention relates to an environmentally friendly liquid for the prevention of freezing of aircrafts and runways, said liquid being particularly suitable to various spraying equipments. The vapor pressure of the said liquid is less than 5 Pa, and the acute oral toxicity, LD50, is more than 10 000 mg/kg. This anti-freezing liquid comprises 10-60 wt.% trimethyl glycine or derivatives thereof, and 40-90 wt.% water, and optionally additives known for anti-freezing liquids.

La présente invention concerne un liquide écologique pour la prévention du gel des aéronefs et des pistes d'envol et d'atterrissage, ce liquide étant particulièrement adapté à différents équipements de pulvérisation. La pression de la vapeur de ce liquide est inférieure à 5 Pa et la toxicité orale aiguë LD50 est supérieure à 10 000 mg/kg. Le liquide antigel comprend 10-60 % en poids de triméthylglycine ou de dérivés de celle-ci et 40-90 % en poids d'eau et éventuellement des additifs connus pour des liquides antigels.
