A liquid gas engine has at least one combustion chamber (4) into which a liquid gas/air mixture is introduced and ignited. The liquid gas motor has an injection device (1) which injects liquid gas through an injection nozzle (2). According to the invention, the injection nozzle (2) opens into the combustion chamber (4), and so the liquid gas is directly injected into the combustion chamber. The direct injection of the liquid gas creates ideal combustion conditions, in particular since the liquid gas which evaporates in the combustion chamber (4) has a cooling effect which is particularly advantageous under a high load. The disclosed liquid gas engine is preferably provided with an injection device (1) designed as an alternating piston pump which works based on the principle of accumulation of energy.
L'invention concerne un moteur à gaz liquéfié comportant au moins une chambre d'explosion (4) dans laquelle un mélange gaz liquéfié/air est introduit et allumé, ce moteur à gaz liquéfié présentant un système d'injection (1) pulvérisant du gaz liquéfié par l'intermédiaire d'un injecteur (2). Ce dernier (2) débouche dans la chambre d'explosion (4) de sorte que le gaz liquéfié est injecté directement dans cette dernière. L'injection directe du gaz liquéfié permet d'obtenir des conditions de combustion idéales, notamment du fait que le gaz liquéfié vaporisé dans la chambre d'explosion (4) provoque un refroidissement mis particulièrement en valeur en cas de charge élevée. Ce moteur à gaz liquéfié comprend de préférence un système d'injection (1) se présentant sous forme de pompe à piston alternatif et travaillant selon le principe d'un accumulateur d'énergie.
