Abstract of the Disclosure This invention relates to an intake element for use at the lower end of a liquid-gas separation chamber wherein gas is separated from a liquid- gas mixture admitted into the lower end of the chamber by the intake element. The intake element has intake openings or ports that are circumferentially spaced and slanted upwardly to direct the mixture generally upwardly.
