An ink jet ink composition comprising a liquid having an electrical resistance of at least 10 9 Ohm.cm, insoluble marking particles in a range of from 0.5 % to 30 % by weight and a particle charging agent in a range of from 0.05 to 5 % by weight, where the marking particles are capable of being charged and concentrated into agglomerations of the particles and ejected from the ink in the presence of non-uniform electrostatic field of significant gradient in an ink jet printing apparatus.

L'invention concerne une composition d'encre pour imprimante à jet d'encre comprenant un liquide ayant une résistance électrique d'au moins 10<9> ohmcentimètres, des particules de marquage insolubles se situant dans une plage de 0,5 à 30 % en poids, et un agent servant à charger les particules se situant dans une plage de 0,05 à 5 % en poids, composition dans laquelle les particules de marquage peuvent être chargées, concentrées en agglomérats de particules et éjectées de l'encre en présence d'un champ électrostatique non uniforme ayant un gradient important dans un dispositif d'impression par jet d'encre.
