A process for the recovery of natural gas liquids (NGL) from liquefied natural gas (LNG) is disclosed. The LNG feed stream (1) is subjected to a two stage separation process where the bottoms (11) from the first stage separation (S) containing C2+ hydrocarbons is split into two portions (14,15), with one portion (14) being heated (4) and used as a reflux (31) during the second stage separation (16) to recover the NGL product (19).

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de récupérer des liquides du gaz naturel (LGN) du gaz naturel liquéfié (GNL). Le flux de charge du GNL est soumis à un procédé de séparation en deux étapes où les fonds de la séparation de la première étape contenant des hydrocarbures C2+ sont divisés en deux parties, dont l'une est chauffée et utilisée comme reflux lors de la séparation de la seconde étape pour récupérer le produit LGN.
