- 29 - The invention provides a stable, liquid, substantially nonaqueous detergent comprising: at least one imidoperacid with the structure Image wherein R is C1-20 alkylene, R1 and R2 are individually H or C1-6 alkyl or alkenyl, or R1 and R2 join to form a heterocycle, said imidoperacid being solubilized in a liquid nonionic surfactant. The stable liquid detergent has excellent oxidant and phase stability and, if enzymes are present, maintains proficient enzyme activity.
