The present invention relates to a liquid pharmaceutical composition comprising an erythropoietin protein, a multiple charged inorganic anion in a pharmaceutically acceptable buffer suitable to keep the solution pH in the range from about 5.5 to about 7.0, and optionally one or more pharmaceutically acceptable excipients. This composition is especially useful for the prophylaxis and treatment of diseases related to erythropoiesis.

Cette invention a trait à une composition pharmaceutique liquide renfermant une protéine d'érythropoïétine, un anion inorganique à charges multiples dans un tampon acceptable du point de vue pharmaceutique pour maintenir le pH de la solution dans une plage comprise entre 5,5 et 7.0 environ et, éventuellement, un ou plusieurs excipients acceptables du point de vue pharmaceutique. Cette composition se révèle des plus utile en matière de prophylaxie et de thérapie d'états pathologiques liés à l'érythropoïèse.
