LIQUID PHASE ISOMERIZATION OF IODOAROMATIC COMPOUNDS Abstract The invention relates to a process for isomerizing a liquid iodoaromatic compound which is selcted from the group consisting of iodobenzene, iodobiphenyl and iodonaphthalene and which is preferably iodonaphthalene in the presence of an inert solvent at a temperature in the range of 100° to 275°C, preferably 180° to 250°C, over an acidic Y-type, X- type or L-type zeolite catalyst.
