ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A liquid poison control tube comprising an outer tube, and an inner tube coaxially provided therein and having a plurality of through holes. One of the outer and inner tubes is connected to a poison introducing pipe, and the other thereof to a poison discharging pipe. The level of a poison liquid in the poison control tube is con- trolled by adjusting the flow rate of the liquid poison introduced through the poison introducing pipe. This liquid poison control tube can be used to make a reactivity control system which permits coarsely controlling the reactivity and finely regulating the output and which serves as a safety means.
