ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A liquid pressure control device for an anti-lock brake is provided with switch means the output of which is inverted in response to a movement of a driving member over a predeter- mined distance from a movement direction switchover point. The driving member is movable in accordance with the on-off condition of solenoid valve means so as to open and close control valve means for supply of braking liquid pressure and to move a liquid pressure control piston for level control of the braking liquid pressure. The liquid pressure control device is further provided with pressure holding control means which, when it is required to hold the braking liquid pressure, controls the on-off condition of the solenoid valve means in accordance with the output of the switch means.
