The invention concerns a liquid process and continuous filtering device, characterised in that it comprises in combination: a) a modular ultrasonic processing unit (12) in the form of a tubular metallic body (11) with a cylindrical inner surface (13) and with circular cross section, open at both its feeding (10) and evacuating (15) ends, the outer surface of said tubular metallic body having proximate to the nodal zone a ring (17) coaxial with said tube and projecting radially, said ring being equipped at its periphery with an ultrasound converter (19) projecting radially and whereof the frequency is equal to the vibration frequency of said ring (17) and to the longitudinal vibration frequency of said tubular metallic body (11); and b) a cylindrical filtering element (14) having a minimal filtering surface of about 50 cm?2¿ and preferably of about 80 cm?2¿ with a mesh opening less than about 20 µm, which is arranged inside the tubular metallic body (11) and coaxially therewith between its feeding (10) and evacuating (15) ends, the specific ultrasonic power generating capacity dissipated inside the tubular metallic body being higher than about 2 Watt per cm?2¿ of filtering surface.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif de filtration en voie liquide et en continu, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend en combinaison: a) une unité modulaire (12) de traitement ultrasonique se présentant sous la forme d'un corps métallique tubulaire (11) de surface intérieure cylindrique (13) et de section droite circulaire, ouvert à ses deux extrémités d'alimentation (10) et d'évacuation (15), la surface extérieure dudit corps métallique tubulaire présentant au voisinage de la zone nodale une couronne (17) co-axiale audit tube et faisant saillie radialement, cette couronne étant équipée à sa périphérie d'un convertisseur ultrasonique (19) faisant saillie radialement et dont la fréquence est égale à la fréquence de vibration de ladite couronne (17) et à la fréquence de vibration longitudinale dudit corps métallique tubulaire (11); et b) un élément cylindrique filtrant (14) présentant une surface minimale de filtration d'environ 50 cm2 et de préférence d'environ 80 cm2 avec une ouverture de maille inférieure à environ 20 µm, qui est agencé à l'intérieur du corps metallique tubulaire (11) et de manière co-axiale à ce dernier entre ses extrémités d'alimentation (10) et d'évacuation (15), la densité nominale de puissance ultrasonique dissipée à l'intérieur du corps métallique tubulaire étant supérieure à environ 2 Watt par cm2 de surface filtrante.
