The present invention relates to a liquid pump dispenser which has a stationary spout, a fixed piston and a reciprocating cylinder therewith defining a variable volume pump chamber. The dispenser has container venting and pump priming features, and includes an inlet/discharge valve housing. the dispenser has a reduced number of parts for simplicity and economy.
