ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE In a liquid-ring rotary compressor, a control disc has, ahead of a sickle-shaped pressure or outlet slot, a multiplicity of spaced radial slots with width and shape conforming to the width and profile of the impeller blades. One such disc is usable for different pressure ratios without requiring a change in the relative position of the compressor housing.
