Liquid separator provided with a vessel (2) Which defines a space which is sealed at the top by means of a lid (7) in which is situated an outlet (8), whereby a pipe (11) is provided in the above-mentioned space on the one hand, extending round the above-mentioned outlet (8) in the above-mentioned space, as of the above-mentioned lid (7), and a fine filter (5) on the other hand, which also extends in the space round the above-mentioned outlet (8) and as of the above-mentioned lid (7), such that between the pipe (11) and the fine filter (5) is defined an outlet zone which is connected to the environment by means of a safety valve (21), characterised in that the safety valve (21) is connected to the above- mentioned outlet zone via a passage (19) in the lid (7). L'invention concerne un séparateur de liquide doté d'un récipient (2) qui définit un espace scellé en haut par l'intermédiaire d'un couvercle (7) dans lequel se trouve une ouverture (8), un tuyau (11) étant agencé dans l'espace susmentionné d'une part, s'étendant autour de la sortie susmentionnée (8) dans ledit espace, à partir du couvercle susmentionné (7), et un filtre fin (5) d'autre part, qui s'étend également dans l'espace autour de ladite sortie (8) et à partir dudit couvercle (7) de manière à ce qu'entre le tuyau (11) et le filtre fin (5) une zone d'ouverture soit définie, qui est reliée à l'environnement par l'intermédiaire d'une soupape de sécurité (21), caractérisé en ce que la soupape de sécurité (21) est reliée à ladite zone d'ouverture via un passage (19) dans le couvercle (7).
