A liquid spray apparatus having a liquid supply assembly is disclosed. The assembly has a container and a collapsible liner received within the interior of the container. Sidewalls of the liner have a plurality of annular weak portions. As liquid (e.g. paint) in the liner is dispensed, the sidewalls are folded and collapsed regularly in the longitudinal direction without irregular local transverse deformations. The uniform collapsing of the liner enables sta-ble spraying of the liquid and minimizes the amount of liquid left unsprayed.
