Liquid tooth cleaning agents containing the following ingredients: 5-15 wt. % precipitated silicic acid with an average particle size of 8-14 µm and a specific surface of 40-75M2/g (BET) in addition to a low thickening characteristic, 20-55 wt. % glycerin, sorbite or a mixture thereof, and 0.3- 1.0 wt. % xanthan gum as a binding agent, whereby the viscosity thereof ranges from 10-100 Pa. The inventive tooth cleaning agents have a flow point of at least 10 Pa yet begin to flow easily at a low shear force e.g. when pressure is exerted on a flexible dispenser.

L'invention concerne un produit liquide destiné au nettoyage des dents et contenant: 5 à 15 % en poids d'un acide silicique précipitant dont la taille moyenne des particules est comprise entre 8 et 14 µm, dont la surface spécifique est comprise entre 40 et 75 m?2¿/g (BET) et dont l'efficacité d'épaississement est faible; 20 à 55 % en poids de glycérine, de sorbite ou de leur mélange et 0,3 à 1,0 % en poids de gomme xanthane comme liant, dont la viscosité est comprise entre 10 et 100 Pa?.¿s (20 ·C). Ces produits ont une limite d'écoulement d'au moins 10 Pa mais ils commencent à légèrement couler pour de faibles forces de cisaillement, p.ex. une pression exercée sur un distributeur flexible.
