The aminourethanes can be reaction products of (i) oligomeric or polymeric compounds which contain at least one, preferably two or more terminal 2-oxo-1,3-dioxolane groups (cyclic carbonate groups), and (ii) amines containing at least one primary, preferably two or more primary and, if desired, also secondary and tertiary amino groups. The ratios of equivalents of C1):C2) typically is from 1:1 to 1:10, preferably from 1:1.05 to 1:5 and particularly preferably from 1:1.1 to 1:2, and the end productpreferably contains one or more free primary amino groups.
