A liquid waste disposal and canister (359, 360) flushing system (310) including a lid (336, 338) with at least first and second ports features a cabinet (312) with an opening (314) and a sink (320) with a drain (324) positioned therein. A removable lid (316) covers the cabinet opening (314). A canister holder in the form of a ring (400) or bucket (330, 332) is positioned within the chamber (322) defined between the sink (320) and cabinet opening (314). The canister holder is supported by a rod (334) that is rotatably positioned in the cabinet (312) so that the canister holder, and therefore the canister (359, 360) positioned therein, may be rotated between an initial position and a drainage position. The canister (359, 360) is secured within the canister holder and tubing (354, 356), which is in communication with a source of cleaning solution, is connected to the first canister port. The canister (359, 360) is rotated into the drainage position and the cleaning solution source is activated to flush the canister contents out of the second lid port and into the sink (320) and drain (324).
