Liquidproof seams are formed between laminates, most preferably those having a complex textile structure on the sealing side of the laminate, where at least a portion of the complex textile in the sealing region is removed, such as by skiving, to reduce the thickness in the seam, or sealing region, prior to the creation of a durably sealed liquidproof seam.

L'invention concerne des coutures étanches aux liquides réalisées entre des doublures, idéalement des coutures présentant une structure textile complexe sur le côté étanche de la doublure. Au moins une partie du textile complexe dans la zone d'étanchéité est retirée, par exemple par drayage, afin de réduire l'épaisseur dans la couture ou dans la zone d'étanchéité, préalablement à la réalisation d'une couture présentant une étanchéité aux liquides durable.
